David Perkins fish decoys are included in collector's reference books on notable
decoy carvers as well as various limited edition prints. They are in great demand
for their folky, old time qualities. This wonderful, Perkins swimming frog is nice and
large at 10 1/4" long with a tall, fat body shape. It has a carved mouth, carved front
legs, and large, inset glass eyes. It is in beautiful, unfished condition and is signed
DFD (Duluth Fish Decoys) in the belly weight. Mr. Perkins gives each of his
decoys a special finish that simulates age an use. This is one impressive piece of
