David Perkins fish decoys are long established in Folk Art Fish Decoy carving
history. They are included in collector's reference books on noted fish decoy
carvers as well as various limited edition prints. This great looking slope nose
Perkins Pike measures 9 3/4" long. It has inset glass eyes and deeply carved
gills. Each carved gill is outlined with three small brass tacks for added visual
appeal. The decoy in is beautiful, original and unfished condition and is signed
DFD (Duluth Fish Decoy) in the belly weight. Mr Perkins gives each of his decoys
a special patina which simulates age and use. It has been completely hand carved
and hand painted in a wonderful Pike pattern. Please check the reference book
