Manford Erickson's fish decoys are featured in the reference book FISH DECOY
MAKERS PAST AND PRESENT and are very tough to come by. Mr Erickson
passed away in the mid 1990s. This folky spotted trout is 9 3-4" long. It has
carved gills, a carved mouth and nicely cripmed and patinated copper fins. The
decoy is completely hand made and hand painted. It is in beautiful, original and
never used condition with a light wear and excellent personality. The maker has
signed the belly with his carved in initials.
