Fish decoys by old time Michigan maker Gene Hamlin are highly collectible and
seldom seen. This unusual 9 3/4" whitefish has carved gills, a carved mouth and
inset bead eyes. It is painted in a nicely blended orange with a white belly. The
decoy is beautiful and original with normal light wear and excellent patina. it was
purchased from Ron Fritz and has been in a private collection for the past 20
years.
