This 1940s perch is a very rare collaboration between Oscar Peterson and Jim
Nelson. The decoy is 9" long and has upholstery tack eyes, carved gills and a
carved mouth. It was made by Oscar Peterson and painted by Jim Nelson and the
species represented in that of a perch. It is in beautiful, original condition with light
wear and some normal but limited paint loss to the metal fins. Collaboration fish
decoys by these two legendary carvers are extremely rare and this example is
exceptional in every way.
