NATIVE AMERICAN FISH DECOYS
WONDERFUL DECOY WITH SCALES
AND A GREAT FORM!
Ross Allen Sr (deceased) was a tribal mamber of the Lac Du Flambeau in northern
Wisconsin. His fish decoys are very collectible and extremely difficult to find. His
decoys with burned in scales is especially collectible. This example is 6 3/4" long.
It has faceted, blue bead eyes and finely detailed woodburned accents. The decoy
is finished with a faint green wash and has a fantastic look. It is beautiful, original
and never used with natural, tin fins.
