Beneath The Ice was the companion book to a fantastic display of fish decoys at
the Museum Of American Folk Art, New York in about 1990. It was written by Ben
Apfelbaum, Eli Gotleib and Steve Michaan. It is beautifully illustrated with many,
many full color photos of some of the finest folk art fish decoys ever discovered.
The decoys are from all regions of the midwest and include carvers like Oscar
Peterson, Andy Trombley, William Faue, Frank Mizera and Leroy Howell. The size
is 8 1/2 X 11" and the book is soft cover with 87 pages. The condition is beautiful
and original with very light use. This book is out of print and extremely difficult to
find.
