Bill Green is an old timer from Northern Minnesota who has been carving fish
decoys for many years. His work is featured in the book FISH DECOY MAKERS
PAST AND PRESENT (available in the reference book section of this catalog). He
is currently getting close to 90 years old. This wide bodied Frog measures 7" long
and is painted green with black and yellow accents. The belly is painted in an
antiques shade of white. The decoy also has a carved mouth which is accent
painted in red. The condition is excellent, original and unfished. The front legs are
articulated to allow them to move when the decoy is jigged. Additional movement
like this is a real attention getter for Northern Pike and articulated decoys are
especially collectible. It is unsigned but there is no doubt as to maker.
